As a long forgotten secret left behind initially; eventually it was forgotten completely. Now this Gate has been re-used; and re-purposed with a Second Life; as a Private Portal. Used primarily for emergency transportation to other Open Gates.
This gate is inside the Region's "Protecetion Zone"; Make sure you're on the list for incoming. Outgoing Destinations are only limited to "Open Gates" where allowed.
